This is the Desktop view of the Ten By Eight site. It starts with muted full-screen video playing, and re-sizes dynamically to the size of the window. The video can be paused by clicking on it, and un-muted by clicking the "no notes" button in the top navigation bar. The 60-second video loops infinitely.
When you hover over the top navigation bar, it darkens for readability.
The "About" and "Press" links make styled boxes drop in from the top of the screen, and the video is dimmed by a lavender screen. The video keeps playing in the background.
The text in these boxes is pulled from external source files, editable by other team members without risk of disrupting the whole site.
When you click the "Infomercial" button, the gameplay demonstration is replaced by an infomercial. Once the infomercial finishes, it resumes playing the demonstration on loop.
The whole design changes for narrower screens, including tablets and phones. This is a full-length screenshot of the site on an iPhone.
